Allen & Ginter Tobacco Cards
Allen & Ginter trading cards were the first of the tobacco era baseball cards ever produced for distribution on a national level. Tobacco Cards, so named because they were distributed in conjunction with cigarette and other tobacco based products in the late 1800's / early 1900's, are the most valuable baseball cards in circulation. Graded Allen and Ginter tobacco cards have become especially popular investments among collectors.
Although Allen and Ginter's late 1800's non-sports trading cards are popular in their own right, its Allen and Ginter's tobacco baseball cards that have drawn the most interest, and subsequently, the highest auction prices.
